User Management

Being able to view who has been in your chat, their current status and other meta data is important for managing your community outside of Telegram.

Modr8 has its own user management module and can provide information related to your users such as:

  • Total tracked user

  • Number of Trusted, Warned or Banned users

  • Reputation amounts, Language used, When Joined and When Last Active

As well as this, we allow you to manage these users direct on our website and if you like, you can view further profile information for each users and get into the detail of their message sentiment and track their number of messages sent over time.

Due to limitations in Telegram bots not being able to view the full list of chat users we simply track users by their activity in your chat. This includes when a user joins, leaves, messages or votes on a poll.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

Why does the number of tracked users differ from the number in my chat

Telegram bots are unable to view the list of users in your chat. We have to track users based on actions and activity they take.

Whilst we are able to see people joining and leaving, sometimes telegram also deletes users or they delete themselves. These deletions do not send out any events and are unable to be tracked by us.

Instead of claiming to offer an exact representation of your chat member list, instead we are offering the ability to simply ensure we track who is being active and when they were active.

I do not see a referral management section in the users profile page

Ensure you have enabled the referral module in your chat settings page. You can read more about how to enable this here.
